The Traditional way
A tutor, nominated by the University, is available to advise on preparation of studies for presentation to the Senate, and on the final thesis.

This means is used when there are no problems of communication over long distances.

By E-mail
In this case, contact between tutor and candidate is by means of electronic post. At every stage of preparation the candidate can refer to his tutor for an evaluation of his work.The only direct contact with the University staff is during the final exam.

In order to study in this way a candidate would need his own email address and to work with software compatible with that of the University.

This means is usually preferable for candidates from distant countries, in order to avoid the burden of travelling.
